For about 6 years now (geeze, that long?) I've had a character on several 'Furry' MUCKs (a MUCK (read: mix of chat room and role-playing) where you play an anthropomorphic character). Honestly, I've been disappointed and hurt by the number of people whom it seems I lost just because I could not access one muck.

I've been going to Anthrocon since it was Albany Anthrocon back in 1997. Sadly, my experiences have been going steadily downhill, to the point where it's forced me at times to reconsider whether I really want involvement with furrydom in general. Nevertheless, I did have a few good experiences, and, if you really want to immerse yourself in Furrydom in a potentially user-hostile way, going to a con is a sure-fire way to do it. I am not planning to attend AC2001 at this time due to a combination of apathy and people issues. I'm also not sure if I want to risk another bad convention. If you have thoughts on this, you know how to contact me. If you do see me there, please say hello. Right now it's safe to say that I could use all of the Furry support I can get.
